As news broke of the devastating Woolsey fires in California moving closer to residential areas, Lady Gaga amongst many others had no choice but to evacuate their homes.
After leaving her Malibu residence, Gaga visited a Red Cross shelter at Pacific Palisades High School. She comforted those in the shelter who also had to leave their homes, including a 98 year old woman who she spoke and sang to.
Gaga handed out gift cards, took photographs, and offered some words of advice. "I extend my love ... I know we do not know each other, but I love you. This is an emergency, but you are not alone."
She also encouraged everyone to take advantage of mental health counsellors on the premises and for them to share stories and talk to each other to get through it. Watch below as she speaks to those at the shelter.
Although it was feared destroyed, Lady Gaga's home was thankfully confirmed to be unscathed by the fire.
