Date: May 4th 2019 Location: unknown

5-4-19 instagram.jpgAfter 50+ days of silence, Lady Gaga returned to Instagram to post about her arrival at the 2019 MET Gala! In the photos, Lady Gaga can be seen posing in a private plane on her way to "Destination 'Camp'". Lady Gaga is co-chairing the event and is the perfect style icon for the biggest fashion event in the world as Camp is "a style or mode of personal or creative expression that is absurdly exaggerated and often fuses elements of high and popular culture."

The annual event is being held Monday, May 6th around 6pm and we can't wait! Be sure to stay tuned for all the details on what she wears!

For her posts, Lady Gaga poses in Marc Jacobs with some killer accessories and the details are as follows:

Bringing back the 90's, Lady Gaga wore a vintage dress from Marc Jacobs' 1993 collection at Perry Ellis. You may remember the same dress featured on the cover of Elle November. The collection was ahead of its time with silk shirts made to mimic flannel, and chiffon dresses created in an homage to polyester garments clearly inspired by  Seattle's grunge music scene. The collection got Marc Jacobs fired!

Lady Gaga's pear-print dress is look 53 of the Spring 1993 Ready-to-Wear collection featuring a deep V-neck and open front only buttoned together below the bust. The dress is finished with a green plaid shirt attached to the waist, and was shown on the runway with a striped long sleeve shirt and tight leggings beneath.

Unfortunately, because these are archival pieces, they are not readily available for purchase. However, it will occasionally pop up in second-hand retailers.

Next, Lady Gaga continued her Marc Jacobs grunge look with Seattle's favorite shoes (trust me, I am from Seattle) - Dr. Marten's boots. Her pair are actually the Marc Jacobs collaboration pair which are the original 10-eye leather boot featuring a pull tab at the rear, a lace fastening, a round toe, a logo patch at the tongue, a stitch detail, a ridged rubber sole and a branded insole.

They are available in several types/colors of leather but Lady Gaga's pair are the black leather (not patent) which are sold for $220 here.

To accessorize, Lady Gaga can be seen wearing a necklace from some of her favorite photographers, Inez and Vinoodh. She has worn many of their jewelry designs which are usually designed with interlocking hoops and stars. Her necklace does not appear to have a star but just two interlocking hoops made of black metal on a black chain.

I could not find the exact design available for purchase but a similar design, with a star included, is pictured on the right.

8-17-12_Leaving_Romania_002.jpgIn the second photo Lady Gaga adds a pair of sunglasses to her unshaved legs, which she believes completes the look. The pair of shades are a favorite of hers and they are the "Atlas" by Ksubi. Ksubi is an Australian fashion label founded in 1999. Lady Gaga has been wearing their "Atlas" shades since 2012 when they were released, see left.

Unfortunately, they are no longer sold by Ksubi but they can be found on several sunglasses websites. I have not heard of these sites before so I do not want to link them if they are not reliable.

Finally, Mother Monster is not carrying a bag but one can be seen sitting on the table beside her. The backpack is Saint Laurent's "City Backpack" in Khaki Cotton Gabardine Camouflage and Black Leather. It is a leather trimmed backpack with YSL's signature embossed exterior zip pocket and interior key clip, cell phone pocket, zip compartment and padded slot pocket.

It is no longer available through Saint Laurent but the same "City" backpack is sold in several different patterns and fabrics.
