Date: January 6th 2019 Location: The Beverly Hilton (Beverly Hills, California)
With 5 nominations for her film A Star Is Born including 2 nominations herself, for Best Lead Actress and Best Original Song, Lady Gaga attended the 2019 Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills looking like a true movie star!
Keeping her makeup clean and making her hair edgy with a blue tint, Lady Gaga graced the red carpet in a customized version of look 19 from the Valentino Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2018 collection - the same collection her amazing Venice Film Festival ostrich feather gown came from!
The periwinkle strapless ball gown is a simplified version of the runway dress, made with a cape creating dramatic drop sleeves and an extensive train that had to be carried by not one but two stylists - Tom Eerebout and Sandra Amador!
To accessorize her look, Lady Gaga wore incredible diamonds from Tiffany and Co. Her necklace is the "Tiffany Aurora Necklace" named after Aurora Borealis (also known as the Northern Lights) and was made just for her in the New York City Tiffany workshop!
Her Tiffany diamonds extended beyond her neck with cluster diamond earrings and diamond bracelets around her wrist.
Allowing her gown to drape beautifully against the carpet, Lady Gaga wore giant heels from Giuseppe Zanotti! She flashed these custom beauties to E News! for just a moment and they are not pictured on the carpet - but are extremely high-heeled silver ankle boots that her stylists Tom and Sandra showed fans on their Instagram stories!
BONUS: Lady Gaga's "icy smokey" makeup was done by her makeup artist Sarah Tanno who is a Global Artistry Ambassador for Marc Jacobs Beauty, thus her entire look was created with Marc Beauty products and we've got the scoop!
For her eyes, Sarah began by combining eyeshadow and glitter. The cool-toned eyeshadows are from the Frivoluxe 730 "Eye-Conic Multi-Finish Eyeshadow Palette" which is sold for only $49 here. The glitter is Marc Beauty's "See-Quins Glam Glitter Eyeshadow" in icy opal shade Flashlight. Flashlight is no longer available through Marc Beauty but it is still available through Sephora for only $28 here.
Next, Sarah lined her eyes with her favorite "Highliner Gel Eye Crayon" in the deepest, shiniest black Blacquer. It is available here for $25. She then finished her lashes with the Haus of Gaga's favorite mascara, the "Velvet Noir" major volume mascara. It is available in a full size for $26 here or in a travel size for only $14 here.
Finally for her lips, Sarah first swiped on the "New Nudes Sheer Gel Lipstick" in brownish nude shade Moody Margot 106 for $30 here. She then layered on a champagne gold shimmer with the "Enamored Hi Shine Gloss Lip Lacquer" in Sugar Sugar 312. It is available for $28 here.
BONUS: Lady Gaga's tinted updo was created by her longtime hair artist Frederic Aspiras with all Joico products, and Freddie was kind enough to give us the instructions to recreating this look on Instagram!
Joico products are available to professionals only at beauty supply stores so there will be no reliable links to purchase these products online. However, the Good Hair Day (GHD) styling tools are available for purchase and listed below!
To achieve the color, first create a "brilliant blonde" using Joico's Blonde Life Lightener. To add the beautiful "Cerulean Blue" tint, mix Joico's Color Intensity in shades Sky and Rose with Clear Mixer.
To achieve the style, first comb Joico Blonde Life Brightening Veil throughout with a wide tooth Good Hair Day comb. Then use a 1-inch round boar bristle brush and Good Hair Day "Air" blow-dryer on high heat and medium speed. Run the Good Hair Day Platinum + throughout the hair to create smooth finish and spray Joico Body Shake throughout.
Next, using the Good Hair Day boar bristle paddle brush, sweep the hair up into ponytail. Wrap and twist hair into a half bun leaving end of hair out parted to each side of head. Wrap the ends of the hair around 1.5 inch Good Hair Day curling iron to create long lasting curl. Finish by spraying Joico Humidity Blocker Finishing Spray throughout.
