CBS's special "Elton John: I’m Still Standing - A GRAMMY® Salute" aired tonight featuring performances from musicians including Lady Gaga, Kesha, Miley Cyrus and Shawn Mendes covering some of Elton John's most iconic hit songs. Lady Gaga's cover of 'Your Song' was praised by Elton John himself on his Twitter stating, "More than a friend, [Lady Gaga] is family to me. Get ready, this #EltonSalute performance of ‘Your Song’ will blow you away." Studio versions of the songs performed tonight have been compiled into an album titled 'Revamp: The Songs of Elton John & Bernie Taupin' which is now available on iTunes and all streaming services.
    2. On Monday night's episode of American Idol, host Ryan Seacrest asked judge Katy Perry if there was anyone she would love to collaborate with. Katy Perry first answered by saying she had so much respect for many artists including Madonna, but followed her answer with, "I love Gaga so much and I think she's such a beautiful mystical magical woman and I'd love to share the stage with her at some time." Katy Perry's love for Lady Gaga has been around for some time. Recently while live streaming an episode of American Idol on Instagram Live, Bad Romance started playing during a segment and Katy Perry let her fans know, "by the way I stan Gaga, everybody, you can just calm down." You can watch a video of Katy Perry and Ryan Seacrest's exchange on American Idol below.

    4. During last night's countdown to the new year on CNN, Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen interviewed singer Celine Dion live from her residency in Las Vegas. Celine was asked by Andy if she had any advice for Lady Gaga since she would be bringing her own show to Las Vegas next year. Celine replied with, "No, first of all this girl knows exactly what she's doing." She continued by praising Lady Gaga and saying she doesn't need to tell someone as talented as her how to do things and that she can't wait to see her show. When Andy told Celine that he wanted to see her do a duet with Lady Gaga, Celine replied, "I would love that, I love her so much." Let's hope the two of them can get together and create some magic!
