    1. The 2019 Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs) Nominations have been announced and Lady Gaga has scored 4 nominations: Top Song Sales Artist Top Soundtrack - A Star Is Born Top Selling Song - Shallow Billboard Chart Achievement Award - Shallow The nominations came as no surprise given Lady Gaga's undeniable presence across all Billboard charts ever since the release of her lead actress debut in Bradley Cooper's "A Star Is Born" remake back in late 2018. The movie soundtrack has spent a total of 4 weeks atop Billboard 200 and has never left the top ten during its 6-month life span. Shallow has spent a record-breaking 10 weeks as the number 1 song on Billboard Digital Song Sales chart, making it the longest-leading chart topper by a lead female artist surpassing Gwen Stefani's 2005 hit "Hollaback Girl" and the 6th overall. The song has also hit number 1 on Billboard Hot 100 back in February after a powerful Oscars performance. Very recently, the song has entered the top 10 on the Radio Songs chart, making it her first top 10 since "Applause" in 2013. Gaga currently holds 7 Billboard Music Award wins out of 28 nominations. The BBMAs ceremony will take place on May 1st at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, the home of Lady Gaga's Vegas residency "Enigma". Do you think she will attend?
    2. The multi-talented, legendary songstress Lady Gaga, turns 33 today: March 28. Back in 2015 Lady Gaga said in an interview with Billboard: "I want to explode as I go into my 30s" months before she turned 30. Today, as she gears up to celebrate her 33rd birthday, Lady Gaga has already conquered 2019, both in the realms of music and film, owing to the success of her 2018 box office hit "A Star Is Born". Here is a recap of what she has achieved during the first three months of the year in honor of her 33rd birthday: 1. A STAR IS BORN SUCCESS Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper's reimagining of the classic tale "A Star Is Born" has crossed $430,000,000 at the worldwide box office. It has also ended 2018 as the 11th highest grossing movie in the United States. 2. ENIGMA At the end of 2018, Lady Gaga has embarked on her acclaimed Vegas residency "Enigma" which has earned a total of $16,000,000 from its first 11 sold-out dates. "Vegas was once where music stars faded away. Now it's cool enough for Lady Gaga" was one of the many headlines in major news outlets which credited Gaga for revitalizing the once-dead Vegas scene. 3. WORLDWIDE CHARTS As of today, Lady Gaga's "Shallow" has completed its 141st day atop the iTunes Worldwide Songs chart. It has also spent a total of 9 weeks atop Billboard Digital Song Sales chart where it still sits at number 1. The song has also become the longest chart topper on U.S. iTunes by a female artist where it still continues to hold strong at #1 in the face of many new releases. 4. BILLBOARD DOUBLE #1 After a magnificent duet of "Shallow" at the Oscars, Gaga & Cooper's global hit has surged to #1 on Billboard Hot 100. During the same week, "A Star Is Born" Soundtrack has returned to #1 on Billboard 200, earning Gaga her first ever simultaneous #1s of her career on the two major Billboard charts. 5. ACADEMY AND GRAMMY AWARDS Lady Gaga has also collected many noteworthy awards courtesy of her debut leading role as Ally in "A Star Is Born". First, she won a Golden Globe for Best Original Song for Shallow. Soon after, she takes home another trophy as she wins National Board of Review's Best Actress award. A few days later, Gaga wins big at the Critics Choice Awards as she takes home Best Original Song for Shallow and the Best Actress award, tied with Glenn Close. She raised her Grammy count from 6 to 9 in one night as Shallow wins "Best Song Written For Visual Media" and "Best Pop/Duo Group Performance" and Joanne (Where Do You Think You're Goin'?) wins "Best Pop Solo Performance". On the same night, she also won "Best Original Music" at 2019 BAFTAs. But her biggest came at the night of 2019 Oscars where she was awarded "Best Original Song" for her songwriting in Shallow. It seems that Lady Gaga has a lot more in store for the world for the remainder of 2019. She recently updated her social media accounts with a picture of musical notes reading "GAGA", signaling new music in near future. She is set to host fashion's biggest night, the Met Gala, in May, gearing up to launch her beauty empire "Haus Beauty" and returning back to her sold-out Vegas residency after a few months of break. Whatever happens, however, we are sure that success will follow. Oh, and one last thing to say, HAPPY BIRTHDAY Gaga!
    3. The force behind Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop and Jessica Alba's Honest Company, the billon-dollar media investor Nicole Quinn has opened up about her company Lightspeed Venture Partners' newest addition to its growing portfolio of e-commerce startups, Lady Gaga's much anticipated, secretive beauty business "Haus Beauty", in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter (THR): "So we're doing something with Lady Gaga" Quinn revealed. She added that the long-run success of the business depends largely on the celebrity's involvement in the process from start to finish. Quinn continued, "asking her many different questions around commitment and time and energy is what actually gave me conviction about the deal because she's so passionate about this. She spends many hours a day calling not just the management team in the company but everybody, discussing the product and having them over to her house to brainstorm". Quinn also told THR that the talks with Lady Gaga and her team actually started about two years ago. "So this has been a long time in the making. We invested about six months ago. We're excited for our launch because we have got some absolute superstars as part of this company, people that have true expertise in the area. They know she never does anything half-assed." Lady Gaga has first filed to trademark her upcoming beauty empire "Haus Beauty" back in February 22, 2018. Foundations, highlighters, bronzers, lipsticks, glosses, eyeshadows, eyeliners as well as fragrances and skincare items such as facial moisturizers, toners, body scrubs, oils and cleansers are among the products that she is expected to launch. The owner of "Jeffree Star Cosmetics" and beauty influencer Jeffree Star has already expressed his interest in reviewing what "Haus Beauty' has in store for all of us on his YouTube channel with a subscriber count of almost 13 million: Well, don't say we didn't warn you.
