A new exhibition, called Drones: Is the Sky the Limit?, exploring the history and future of drone technology—opens in May. You’ll be able to view historical artifacts, model airplanes, rare videos and actual drones, including Volantis, the world’s first flying dress, worn by global superstar Lady Gaga.
Volantis is a remote-piloted hover vehicle capable of carrying a single passenger. It was designed by the UK based design agency Studio XO and constructed by TechHaus, the Haus of Gaga’s technology branch, over a period of two years. Lady Gaga wore it for the first time at her press conference in NYC back in 2013.
