      Instagram Update

Date: January 5th 2018 Location: Costa Rica
After sharing photos of her derrière, Lady Gaga changed it up by sharing a photo of herself reading poetry on a Costa Rican beach. From Rainer Maria Rilke, Lady Gaga captioned that "At the heart of me I am one. That’s all that I am. A poet looking for a page."
For her reading session on the beach, Lady Gaga first started with a pair of silver square earrings. You may recognize the earrings from her Twitter back on November 13th, 2017 (see our post here). I spoke with her stylist, Tom Eerebout, who informed me that the earrings are a pair from her vintage collection with the designer unknown.
However, @Bensundwall on Twitter pointed out that the earrings look just like Agmes NYC's "Large Isa Earrings." If you're interested in owning the same style, the handmade sterling silver earrings are available for purchase for $480 here.
As for her outfit, Lady Gaga wore a loose-fitting, floral chiffon robe. You wouldn't know from the Instagram post that it was a robe, I only know because she actually wore the robe back in 2013 to promote President Obama's healthcare plan on Twitter! Unlike before, Lady Gaga kept the robe short and close to her body while reading rather than letting it flow to the ground.
The robe was part of look 45 in Vera Wang's Fall 2013 collection which was paired with numerous other pieces in the same black and orange fabric. Up close, the flowers are made with a contrasting iridescent fabric. The same robe was also designed in gray toned floral. Unfortunately, because the robe is from an older collection, it is no longer available for purchase.
Lady Gaga also finished her look with a small fedora hat. A collection of Rilke's books are also available for low prices on Amazon here.

      Social Media Updates

Date: January 3rd 2018 Location: Costa Rica
After shutting out the world on a break from her Joanne World Tour for the holidays, Lady Gaga returned to social media with a sexy beach photo from Costa Rica. She used the photo to wish all of her fans and followers a happy New Year!
In the photo, Lady Gaga wears a white bikini from Sauvage Swimwear. Sauvage is designed and manufactured in San Diego with high quality standards and attention to detail by Simon and Elizabeth Southwood. Since 1985, Sauvage has become a favorite of celebrities and models, and regularly receives acclaim in major fashion magazines.
Lady Gaga's bikini is not actually a set but rather a top and bottom from two different sets. First, her top is the "Gold Crystal Snake Bandeau" in white which features an asymmetrical Swarovski Crystal snake strap that drapes over one shoulder and clasps in the back. The top is also "silky smooth and comfortable all day" in a Italian blend of Nylon and Lycra. The bandeau top (perfect for a smaller amount of tan lines) has removable padding and clasps in the back with the help from the crystal encrusted snake.
The top is no longer available in white through Sauvage but it is available still in cobalt blue, black, and coral here. The top alone will cost you $150 and the set will cost you $238.
For her bottoms, Lady Gaga wore the "Crystal Chandelier Thong," also in white. This stunning bikini bottom is a unique Sauvage design that is unlike any other. Sauvage actually referred to them as Lady Gaga's favorite on Instagam as she wore them previously while in Miami (see our post here). The bottoms were originally designed for a set with a triangular top. The bottom only is available for $125 in white here but is again also available in cobalt blue, black and coral. The set is available for $245.
Lady Gaga later uploaded more photos from her vacation on Instagram which showed a new pair of sunglasses and a platform pair of sandals. I have not identified her sunglasses yet - if you have a tip, tweet it to us at @WhatGagaWore - but I have found her shoes!
Lady Gaga wore a new pair of "Python Heels" from Baja East's collaboration with Melissa. Lady Gaga has worn Baja East numerous times as she has become friends with the designers Scott Studenberg and John Targon. The shoes are made with the collaboration's trademark python texture but rather than actual snakeskin, the collaboration uses 100% recycled PVC to create the texture!
Hypoallergenic and made in Brazil, Lady Gaga's pair are the marbled pink version (with a bubblegum scent!) but the shoes are also available in black and gold, each for $150 here.

      Instagram Story

Date: December 22nd 2017 Location: unknown
After returning home from the North American leg of the Joanne World Tour, Lady Gaga opened presents from several designers which she put on her Instagram Story. And I've got the details - including where to buy them yourself as a little Christmas present to all of you!
First, Lady Gaga received a package from Nicola Formichetti's Nicopanda. Lady Gaga showed three pieces on her story, all of which are from the Nicopanda collaboration with Urban Outfitters. The first item is the "Camo Hoodie Sweatshirt" in pink made from a super soft cotton knit with plush fleece lining. Designed to have an oversized fit, the sweatshirt is topped with a drawstring hoodie and zip cargo pocket detailing at the left arm. The sweatshirt also features a Nicopanda panda logo on the left chest and "NICOPANDA" printed ont he back. Available exclusively at Urban Outfitters, the sweatshirt is available for $109 here.
Matching the sweatshirt, Lady Gaga received a pair of the "Camo Joggers" in pink from the Nicopanda collaboration. Built from a soft cotton-blend with a high-rise, tapered-leg the pants feature solid trim detailing at the sides and waist. The joggers are finished with side-entry pockets, a matching Nicopanda panda logo on the left hip, and a matching "NICOPANDA" print on the back right pocket. They are available, exclusively through Urban Outfitters, for $99 here.
Her final item from Nicopanda is the "Uptown Camo Puffer Jacket." The quilted outside of the jacket is completely covered in a dreamy, pastel camo-print and the maxi silhouette ensures you’ll be kept snug even in the coldest weather. The jacket also features a zip-up fastening, detachable hood and a cozy turtleneck with "NICOPANDA" also printed on the backside. As Lady Gaga pointed out, the jacket is complete with matching gloves! The jacket is available for $250 but is sold out online so check your local locations for your own.
Lady Gaga then posted a thank you on her Instagram story to Strathberry for a "beautiful custom bag." Strathberry is an Edinburgh based leather goods label founded in 2013. Handcrafted in Spain, Strathberry products are defined by clean lines and the signature bar closure (used on Lady Gaga's new bag).
While the bag has been customized with "GAGA" in studded leather letters with matching orange tubular handles, the original is available for $625 here. The original bag is the "Strathberry Midi Tote" in black leather with the signature Strathberry bar closure at the top. The bag features two interior pockets, Strathberry branded hardware and a detachable and adjustable shoulder strap. Made in Spain using the finest calf leather and microfiber lining with a suede like finish, the bag is available in 19 other colors/color combinations.
Lady Gaga also posted a photo of a present from Jean Paul Gaultier but did not update what was inside.

      Instagram Updates

Date: December 22nd 2017 Location: unknown
To wish her followers "a warm and happy holiday," Lady Gaga updated her Instagram in a chic winter look. To start, Lady Gaga wore a leopard print hat from Gladys Tamez Millinery who has created most of Lady Gaga's recent hats including the Joanne album cover hat.
Lady Gaga's hat is the Verushka, which is also available in black. The hat comes with a black band on half of the hat that goes through gold side grommets to tie a bow underneath, which Lady Gaga has done. Purchase your own leopard Verushka for $770 here.
Lady Gaga's jacket is another piece of vintage Versace, which she wore recently on Instagram (see post here.) This time Lady Gaga is wearing a double-breasted fur coat from the Autumn/Winter 1992 "Istante Bondage" collection. Made in Italy, the black alpaca fur coat is an exquisite piece; double breasted and knee length, it features a leather hem, cuffs and collar which has crystal embellished gold tone cowgirl tip corners. More crystals line the leather cuffs, and black and gold tone buttons form a double breasted arrangement across the front.
Unfortunately, because the jacket is vintage it is no longer available for purchase but you can see the FarFetch listing I uncovered on the jacket here and individual sellers may turn up online.
Her shoes are not pictured but the very tippy-top of the shoes can be seen just slightly. They appear to be matching leopard print but not enough is visible for me to identify.
As Lady Gaga tweeted, LadyGagaNow is "Wishing you the happiest possible of holidays and remembering we’re all in this as one family: Humanity. #BeKind this season."

      Instagram Story

Date: December 22nd 2017 Location: Malibu, California
While relaxing at her home in Malibu, Lady Gaga updated her Instagram story with a quick video of her horse Arabelle. In the video, Lady Gaga can be heard talking about taking a Christmas ride before flipping the camera to herself. In the quick snapshot, Lady Gaga wears a very Joanne look with a black hat and a fringe vest.
First, Lady Gaga wears a custom black hat from Gladys Tamez Millinery. The hat is a black version of her Joanne album cover hat distinguishable by the raised edges and concave top. Her hat was finished with a thick black ribbon band instead of the snakeskin band used on the Joanne hat. Gladys Tamez took to Instagram to repost the video writing "Merry Christmas from @ladygaga and us at #GladysTamezMillinery."
The black version of the hat is not available for purchase but the pink version is available in a limited edition for $680 here.
Next, Lady Gaga wore a pair of aviator sunglasses made with gold frames and black lenses. While they appeared to be RayBan shades, a closer look points out the signature logo is missing. Thus, I have not tracked down her exact pair of glasses but a nearly identical pair can be found on Amazon for only $9.99 here.
Finally, Lady Gaga wore a fringe vest from Saint Laurent over a grey t-shirt. Do you recognize the look? If you do, it's because she wore it in an Instagram update early this year, January 4th 2017 to be exact, while riding Arabelle! See our original post on the look here.
Made with a point collar, a Western-style shoulder yoke, and front patch front pockets, the Saint Laurnent "Texan" Fringed Jacket is made with "Cognac" colored 100% calfskin suede in Italy. The jacket is no longer available for purchase but was originally sold for $4,950 through Saint Laurent and was last seen at Barney's for $1,239.

      Bloodpop Instagram Story

Date: December 21st 2017 Location: unknown
After being spotted leaving Nobu restaurant the night before, Bloodpop updated his Instagram story with a photo of Lady Gaga in the studio where she is wearing parts of the same outfit. This leads me to believe she was actually in the studio December 20th but the story was posted late.
From top to bottom, Lady Gaga again wears an extremely large panther necklace which appears to be one of Cartier's Panthere designs. Unfortunately, the design is not currently available and I have not been able to track down the exact one online in vintage archives.
Next, Lady Gaga wears a pair of beautiful vintage Versace pants. The pants are the blue, yellow and red 100% cotton Sun Baroque Trousers. The all-over print pants feature a button and zip fly, belt loops, a five pocket design, and a cropped length. Again, the pants are no longer available for purchase as a vintage piece but they were sold through FarFetch, see posting here.
In the Instagram Story, we get a better shot of Lady Gaga's thick metal belt. The belt features a panther design to match her necklace but I have not been able to track down the exact belt, or even a similar belt.
Finally, Lady Gaga changed her shoes to a red pair of ankle boots. Adding to her Saint Laurent booties collection, Lady Gaga wears the "Anita 85" in red leather. LG has worn the same boots in black leather several times before, most recently on Instagram while in Salt Lake City earlier this month. The zipped ankle boots with a 3.3 inch metal-tipped heel are now sold out online through Saint Laurent and all other retailers.
It is unknown at this time what project they were working on.

      Leaving Nobu Restaurant

Date: December 20th 2017 Location: Nobu Restaurant (Malibu, California)

After announcing her Las Vegas residency, Lady Gaga and boyfriend Christian Carino were spotted leaving Nobu Restaurant in Malibu, California. Lady Gaga is currently on break from the Joanne World Tour, spending time at her Malibu mansion as well as New York City and more.
For their night out, Lady Gaga wore a vintage Versace outfit with an assortment of large accessories.
From top to bottom, Lady Gaga wore large pair of patterned hexagonal sunglasses. She later posted the shades in black on Instagram in May 2018 revealing them to be from Quay Australia! While they appeared somewhat green in the low quality paparazzi photos, the sunglasses are actually the Leopard version of their "Rockbaby" frames. The sunglasses are no longer available through Quay but can be purchased through outside retailers for around $50.
Next, Lady Gaga wore an extremely large panther necklace which appears to be one of Cartier's Panthere designs. Unfortunately, the design is not currently available and I have not been able to track down the exact one online in vintage archives.
As for her outfit, Lady Gaga wore a matching jacket and pants from Versace. Lady Gaga's jacket is the red, blue and yellow 100% cotton Sun Baroque Print Jacket which is a vintage piece. The all-over print jacket features a spread collar, a top button, two chest pockets, gold-tone hardware, and a concealed front fastening. The jacket was momentarily sold through FarFetch for $1,550 (see posting here) but, because it is a vintage piece, it is no longer available for purchase. However, occasional listings may become available online.
Lady Gaga's pants are vintage Versace blue, yellow and red 100% cotton Sun Baroque Trousers. The all-over print pants feature a button and zip fly, belt loops, a five pocket design, and a cropped length. Again, the pants are no longer available for purchase as a vintage piece but they were sold through FarFetch, see posting here.
To accessorize her look, Lady Gaga wore a thick gold belt that appears to have a matching panther animal design as her necklace when zoomed in. She also wore black ankle boots from Azzedine Alaia, a signature shoe of hers! Unlike her more common Alaia boots, the pair she wore here appear to be a custom creation but she has worn them several times before including back in November 2015 while recording with Mark Ronson.
Finally, Lady Gaga was seen carrying a small red purse matching the contrasting red in her vintage Versace outfit. I am still working on tracking down her exact bag so stay tuned for updates. And if you have a tip, tweet it to us @WhatGagaWore!
