2018 MTV Movie and TV Awards

Date: June 16th 2018 Location: Barker Hangar Center (Santa Monica, California)
Taking home the award for Best Music Documentary for Gaga: Five Foot Two against some incredible films like HBO's Defiant Ones, Lady Gaga attended the 2018 MTV Movie and TV Awards in a full look from Alexander McQueen! She also presented the award for Best Movie, which was won by Black Panther, in the same look. The ceremony will air on MTV Monday June 18th.
With a sneak peek from her and director Chris Mourkabe's Instagram stories, Lady Gaga wore a full look from McQueen's Fall 2018 Ready to Wear collection. Wearing  look 2 from the runway, her outfit was inspired by "Metamorphosis: the magical transformation of femininity. Extreme nature: the delicate, emergent beauty of butterflies and moths; the opalescent shine of softly-armoured Scarab beetles.  Hybrids: the morphing of one creature into another, one garment into another," and Lady Gaga's dress transforms from a red leather bustier into a sheer black skirt.
Because of the season, the dress is not yet available for purchase. She also finished her look with the same boots shown on the runway which are a classic black ankle boot but are instead finished with an upper section in matching red leather.
To accessorize her look, Lady Gaga continued with Alexander McQueen keeping with some of the runway styling. First, Lady Gaga wore the new "Stick Pearl Earrings" which are available for preorder. These 7cm long earrings are finished with antique silver featuring baroque pearls. Preorder your own pair for $760 here.
Layering a choker and a dangling necklace, Lady Gaga started with McQueen's "Tubular Choker" in antique silver. The choker, also available in brass, can be purchased for $1,290 here. Her dangling necklace is also from McQueen but due to the limited photos we have so far I cannot distinguish which one it is. More details will emerge as HQ photos are released so stay tuned!

      Leaving Electric Lady Studios

Date: May 30th 2018 Location: Electric Lady Studios (New York City, New York)
For her last day in the studio, Lady Gaga switched outfits into a bold silk minidress to give fans one last uhh-mazing look! If you're counting, she wore 17 completely different outfits in 8 days!! Now let's break down this one:
For her dress, Lady Gaga wore look 4 from Viktor & Rolf's Spring Haute Couture 2018 "Surreal Satin" collection which debuted in late January. Established in 1993. Viktor & Rolf are dutch designers, thus the entire collection including Lady Gaga's dress is made with technical duchesse satin in many different colors and patterns. Her yellow satin dress is made with long sleeves and extremely ruched shoulders and neckline which is finished with a contrasting bow for a belt.
Some of their pieces are sold online but I cannot find her yellow satin dress for sale anywhere.
Next, Lady Gaga continued with her sky-high Pleaser heels from several nights before. While at first glance they look like her go to Xtreme-1020 or Beyond-1020, these laced ankle boots are the Flamingo-1020 have a much shorter heel and platform and a shorter/less angled toe box. The heel measures to 7.5 inches and they are available in patent leather through Amazon for $89.95 to $109 (depending on size and seller) here.
Finally, to accessorize her look, Lady Gaga wore simple pearl earrings that she also wore while arriving at the studio earlier in the morning. From Houston, Texas based women's brand Charming Charlie, Lady Gaga wore the now sold-out "Simply Elegant Large Pearl Earrings."

      Leaving Electric Lady Studios

Date: May 29th 2018 Location: Electric Lady Studios (New York City, New York)
After another long day in the studio, Lady Gaga switched outfits into a smoking hot red look for her fans waiting outside. While somewhat simple in silhouette, the designs were made with creative materials for one of my favorite looks of the week.
To start, Lady Gaga wore a strapless vinyl dress from Italian designer Giuseppe di Morabito! Morabito is a young designer who formed his label in 2014. His Women’s line is characterized by Made in Italy tailoring, special fabrics and sophisticated embroideries. The brand’s style plays with a sense of elegant bizarreness, the art of tailoring in different shapes and forms.
From look 13 of Morabito's Fall/Winter 2018 collection, Lady Gaga's "Bustier Vinyl Dress" is made of flaming hot red vinyl with a fitted waistline and back slit. The dress features an invisible slip on the back and was sold for $800. Unfortunately, the trunk show for the collection has ended and the dress is no longer available.
For her extreme platform heels, Lady Gaga wore Vivienne Westwood fresh off the runway! Westwood is a British designer known for her elegant designs as well as her unique designs - and these shoes are unique! Made with matching red plastic and leather, the shoes appear to be hand-painted with words like "sex," "extra," "porn," and "gay." They are not shown in the official campaign lookbook but they were showcased on the runway. I have not been able to find anywhere to purchase the shoes.
To accessorize her look, Lady Gaga started with a brand new pair of sunglasses. From a collaboration between the Parisian eyewear house and French fashion designer, Lady Gaga wears sunglasses from Alain Mikli x Alexandre Vauthier. The collection explores the labels’ shared love of avant-garde style with a collection of retro-meets-futuristic sunglasses.
Lady Gaga's pair are the "Roselyne" frames which are oversized round sunglasses handmade in Italy and constructed of black marbled acetate embellished with tiny round Swarovski crystals. There are only a few pairs left through Barneys for $590 here.
Next, Lady Gaga wore unique hoop earrings from Oscar De La Renta. Made with Swarvoski crystal spikes, the earrings are the "Crystal Small Pave Sea Urchin Earrings," available for $360 here. Oscar De La Renta also sells a larger pair of the same design for $480.
Finally, no look is complete without a stunning purse to carry your belongings and LG did not disappoint! For her nighttime look, Lady Gaga carried an Azzedine Alaia bag but I have not been able to track down the exact bag in any of Alaia's collections. I will keep looking so stay tuned for an update! And if you have a tip, tweet it to us @WhatGagaWore!
Big thank you to Lady Gaga's stylists Sandra Amador and Tom Eerebout for helping create this amazing look and posting all the credits!

      Leaving Beauty & Essex

Date: May 27th 2018 Location: Beauty & Essex (New York City, New York)
After spending the day in the studio, Lady Gaga hit the town with her friends and the Haus of Gaga to celebrate Bobby Campbell! Bobby is Lady Gaga's manager and close friend who began working with her (as an assistant to Troy Carter) over ten years ago! And it wouldn't be a truly Gaga moment if there wasn't an outfit change!
Seen peaking out of her Gareth Pugh leopard look earlier, Lady Gaga wore a electric blue dress with matching gloves from Tamuna Ingorokva who she recently wore for the first time on Instagram back in April. From the brand new Fall 2018 collection, Lady Gaga wears look 28 made of leather with strategic paneling for a sexy yet sophisticated party look.
Ingorokva has a large online store but unfortunately, the Fall 2018 collection is not yet available for purchase.
Next, Lady Gaga finally brought back her sky-high Pleaser heels for a truly Gaga look!
Finally, Lady Gaga once again carried her most recently Mark Cross bag (which I am in love with!). Inspired by the overnight case created for Grace Kelly in Rear Window, the "Grace Small Box" is a top handle handbag with an adjustable and detachable leather shoulder strap. The bag is available in many colors and textures, but Lady Gaga's is the black smooth calf leather version sold for $2,395. Unfortunately, her version of the bag is sold out through all retailers.
BONUS: Lady Gaga may have changed outfits but her glam stayed the same. Sarah Tanno revealed her look was inspired by the 60's. "In the 60’s they wore some of my favorite detailed eye makeup. From colors, to shading, extreme liners and lashes. I paired this look with a bright orange mouth to keep it fresh and fun. I really am the luckiest girl in the world to have such an iconic face to paint," Sarah captioned her latest Instagram post.
Keeping her skin clean, Lady Gaga's flawless foundation is from Marc Jacobs Beauty. Tanno is a Global Brand Ambassador for Marc Jacobs Beauty and uses many of their products on LG daily. Sarah did not reveal which shade she used but the foundation is "Shameless" - Marc Jacobs Beauty's "Youthful-look 24 hour wear foundation" complete with SPF 25 protection.
It is available in 29 different shades for $46 here.
To create the detailed undereye liner, Sarah used the AMC Eyeliner Gel from Polish cosmetics company Inglot. The black gel, shade 77, is available for only $22 here. The eyeliner is available in many other colors as well from natural browns to bright turquoise and everything in between.

      Leaving Electric Lady Studios

Date: May 27th 2018 Location: Electric Lady Studios (New York City, New York)
Leaving fans shook, Lady Gaga emerged from the studio in New York City in a daring high fashion look. Opposite from her morning look, Lady Gaga's hair went long and wild with a braided hairbow over a high ponytail paired with a wild leopard print garment.
Lady Gaga's oversized leopard look is fresh off of Gareth Pugh's Fall 2018 runway. Mother Monster has a long history with English designer Gareth Pugh who she has worn and hung out with throughout her career. The collection was, according to Pugh, designed “for women who accept zero bullshit.” And as Lady Gaga stomped through the streets of NYC like a runway, I could feel that attitude!
Wearing the full look 1, Lady Gaga wears a box-like velvet coat with a strong collar and shoulder pads finished with black leather trim and matching black belt around the waist. Underneath the coat, Lady Gaga wears the thigh-high matching boots also with an oversized, and thus slouched, style.
While moving, an electric blue outfit beneath her jacket peeked through which she would later reveal at her manager Bobby Campbell's birthday party!

For her bag, LG once again carried her "Grace Small Box" purse in black from Mark Cross. She previously carried the same bag in brown leather so this was an easy find.
Finally, Lady Gaga was spotted leaving her apartment (or wherever she is staying in New York City) to head out to Bobby's birthday celebration where she added a trendy pair of ultra-slim sunglasses. For her first pair from designer Poppy Lissiman, Lady Gaga wore their razor sharp matrix-esque silhouette frames in solid shiny black acetate with black lens and completed with clear crystals carefully embellishing the front frame.
Lissiman's "Le Skinny Luxe" are available for purchase for $130 here. The same frames are available without crystals and in nearly a dozen other colors as well.
Thank you to Lady Gaga's stylist Sandra for the credits!
BONUS: Lady Gaga's makeup artist Sarah Tanno revealed her look was inspired by the 60's.

Arriving at Electric Lady Studios / Instagram Updates

Date: May 27th 2018 Location: Electric Lady Studios (New York City, New York)
Lady by day, Mother Monster arrived for another day in the studio wearing a business style gray ensemble. She would later change into a gaga by night look - post coming soon!
Lady Gaga's outfit is a wool set from Fendi's latest collection - Fall/Winter 2018. Lady Gaga specifically wears look 24 comprising of a scalloped collar top with shoulder pads and a flared skirt-like hem with a matching mid-length skirt. Unfortunately, because it is currently summer, the Fall/Winter look is not available for purchase just yet.
For her heels, Lady Gaga stuck with Fendi. This time, she wore a pair of heels that are currently available for purchase! Her "Multicolor Technical Mesh Slingback" pumps are inspired by futuristic geometric designs: the shoes are made of technical mesh and tulle, with tone-on-tone heat-sealing. The FF logo print creates levels of transparency on the toe and the ankle straps add a sporty touch, with a pad and hiking hardware.
They are available in several different fabrics and prints, but her exact pair are sold for $875 here.
To complete her lady-like look, LG carried a small box-style purse from Mark Cross. She previously carried the same bag in brown leather so this was an easy find.
BONUS: Lady Gaga's makeup artist Sarah Tanno dished on some of the details to creating this makeup look.
For her lips, Lady Gaga went ultra-nude and metallic - this time with a lipstick from Lime Crime! From the Metallic Velvetines line of liquid lipsticks, "Blondie" is inspired by rose petals. The formula is based on Lime Crime's famed matte formula with the same staying power, but dry down to a luxurious 'liquid metal' finish. The shade is normally available for $20 but is currently marked down to only $12 here!

Out & About in New York City

Date: May 25th 2018 Location: New York City, New York
Spending another day in the city, Lady Gaga strolled through Greenwich Village and arrived back at Electric Lady Studios for a second day of work. For her morning look, Lady Gaga wore black Chanel with all-black accessories.
Lady Gaga's black tweed dress is vintage Chanel with a highly structured front design and black buttons. I cannot track down an exact photo of the dress but I can tell you it was purchased for Lady Gaga from Albright Fashion Library.
To accessorize her look, Lady Gaga started with a pair of black sunglasses I have yet to identify. If you have a tip, tweet it to us @WhatGagaWore!
Next, Lady Gaga wore button earrings from Chanel to match her dress. They can only be vaguely seen in photos as large black button earrings with the small double C Chanel logo in gold. Again, I cannot track down an exact photo of the earrings but several similar pairs are pictured right. They were purchased for Lady Gaga at New York Vintage.
For her bag, Lady Gaga once again carried her Delvaux "Brillant MM" that she got back in November 2017. The Brillant family of bags was designed by la maison Delvaux in 1958, in collaboration with Paule Goethals, a renowned Belgian architect. Crafted of the house's black signature Sellier grained calfskin, her "Brillant MM" is available only through authorized retailers like Barney's for $6,150 here.
Finally, Lady Gaga is said to be wearing velvet pointy toe pumps from Manolo Blahnik but I have not been able to find the exact pair anywhere. Stay tuned though, I will keep this post updated and again, if you have a tip tweet it to us @WhatGagaWore.
